Okay, so I got everything installed just fine, but when I hit New Topic to post a new topic, I don't get this text window or any of the options above it except for Subject, the emoticons on the right, and the Message Icon.  Did I miss something?  Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, it was the rich text editor option, I'm getting the text box now but without any of the nifty options on top of it.  I didn't know IE didn't support rich text editing?  I like those icons =)  what can I do?

IE does support Rich Text Editing (RTE), the problem sounds like either a corrupted file (try reuploading) or something on your PC or browser security settings preventing the RTE from running in IE.

Hi Borg, I take it you're a star trek fan? =)

Anyway, I re-uploaded twice (without recreating the database) and got the same results.  This should rule out a corrupted file, unless the something screwed up in the initial download (although every once in awhile, random numbers and letters appear on the BB screen...)
 
If it is a security setting, any idea where it would be?
