Hi all,

I have installed the last version of web wiz forums and i'm getting this error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x904 Thread 0xa6c DBC 0x79ac00c Jet'.

/forums/admin/common.asp, line 158

The database is in a directory called db and all other files are in the directory www/forums (i have write and read permitions on the server)

I have edited both common.asp files like this:

'Virtual path to database
strDbPathAndName = Server.MapPath("../../db/forums.mdb")  'This is the path of the database from this files location on the server

Can't figer out what i have done wrong

Thanks for any help

It is a permisisons problem, the error as it says means that IIS does not have sufficient permsions to access the registry, also sometimes setting the windows temp directory for all uses can sort this out.
