Hi,

With the EU cookie directive soon coming into effect I need some advice on what to do?

I'm currently running on webwiz version 10.01 and very happy with that version and don't really want to upgrade. What should I do to conform to the directive from a minimum point of view?

Any advice much appreciated.

There is allot of work that needed to be done in order to comply with the EU Cookie Directive. Some of it has been introduced in 10.10 beta in order to change the forum so that cookies are only set for members.

The next version 10.11 will go further and include information on cookies set as set out in the ICO's guidelines on compliance with the directive.

I think the only real way you would be able to comply is upgrade to 10.11 when it is released later this month.

Web Wiz Forums  version 10.11 is now available on the download page which includes the updates to comply with the EU Cookie Directive.
