Hello,
could you please describe what differences between free and paid version? I need to consider feature-by-feature to make decision about purchase

Also I can't find full list of new vs.8 features... For example, 1) when I create new forum, may I assign some default permissions, instead of manual/multiple clicking 2) is the reputation/rating system?

What about non-commercial version? I have non-commercial license (email u102@yahoo.com) and would like to purchase the similar one

Thank you

The Free Express Edition is the same as the full version but has adverts and doesn't have Private Messaging, Event Calendars, or the new File Upload System with new File Manger.

  • New look Admin Control Panel with new tools
  • A range of built in skins to select from
  • New more secure upload system, with built in Member File Manager
  • Improved Member Profiles
  • New Generic Member Import Tool, to import members from other databases, forum systems, portals, etc.
  • Web Wiz NewsPad integration, to display News Bulletins with Web Wiz Forums and send eNewsletters to your members
  • Improved search tools including Quick Forum and Quick Topic search tools
  • Quick access drop downs to a wide range of tools and features
  • Web Wiz Rich Text Editor version 4 integration
  • Improved ‘HTML Secure’ security filters updated to protect against all the latest XSS Hacking Exploits
  • YouTube and Movie Support using BBcodes
  • Improved cookie management and handling
  • Quick Reply Box with Full-Reply Switch
  • Improvements to logging in, will now return you to your previous location
  • Calendar Events can now stretch multiple dates
  • Improved Admin Control Panel, Member Management Tools
  • + over 250 changes and improvements!!
Non-commercial licenses were dropped almost 2 years ago as they were simply abused as everyone even large corporations claimed they were non-commercial for one reason or another.

There are numerous licensing options from Community Hosted Solutions including Premium Edition License from £2.49 per month, up to Multiple Site Brand Free Licenses.

The Community Hosted Solutions (Web Wiz Forums Hosting) seem to be very popular as it takes all the hassle out of it and gives you the Premium Edition for a very small monthly cost.

The equivalent of a non-commercial license now would be the Single Site Premium Edition Licenses that includes the branding.

Thank you, Bruce
I see that there are no rating system, but may we fix the following:

when I create new forum, may I assign some default permissions, instead of manual/multiple clicking

Actually I would like add extra groups (6-8), but in this case I spend a lot of time for grant permissions for news forums/sub-forums. When new forum created, I have to click manually many time to set permissions for many groups

PS Probably there are list of totally new/ considarable improved features vs 8? Currently we have general list only

A 'check all' function is on the 'todo' list for permissions, just have not had time to implement it yet.

If you look in the version history file, it lists all 260 odd changes to the software. The main ones are listed above as version 9 has been worked on for over 12 months so none here can recall every little change, but most of the work for version 9 has gone into the new interface and work on those items listed above.
