Hi friends, we are a group of 6 people who are in final year of university, we have to submit our final year project proposals to university by the end of this month, all i want is you people give us projects based on .net plateform (C#, ASP.net, VB.net) using windows or web based. Please help us and give us some projects.

Here's a good one:

C# (or VB.NET) port of Port Audio

You could do something similar, but there is very little done in audio for .NET. Any major open source project would be good. If you could do one that works with Mono on OS X as well, you'd have an A.

There are a million projects already out there. You need to do something that isn't already done in .Net. Audio and video are good things to get into because you'll pioneer something and get an A for it.

e.g. Port Audacity to .Net - guaranteed A.

Your prof will want something interesting. Something that isn't already done is interesting. Do audio or video. Media is where it is at.

DON'T do DRM or anything security related. BORING. And no matter what you do, there will be things already a million times better. Not worth doing.

Compression - same thing... there are research labs that do nothing but that. VERY difficult.

A/V is a realistic goal.
