hey salman and all you other newbies that dont want to try make a script on your own and just coming here and nearly commands ppl to help you with a complete script, SCREW YOU.. try on your own BEFORE you ask for help.. you can start searching the Internet for a sample script or a tutorial on asp,(aspin.com, pscode.com, w3schools.com, webwiz.net) THEN when you have tried, come back and ask politely for help, then maybe someone wants to help you out..
if someone ASKS me to help, im glad to help if i can, but if someone COMMANDS me to help, then i dont want to help them.. and i think im not alone about this...
OKAY?? yeah..

I'd like to note that for many in this forum, English is not their primary language and posts will often come across as abrasive when that was not the intent at all. Also, many who come here are new at programming, and new to the decorum followed by most help forums. That decorum presumes you will indicate what your problem is, and how you've tried to resolve it so far.
I remember being "stuck" on simple things as a newbie and required some handholding until I learned how to troubleshoot, so I don't mind helping people get jumpstarted.
However, it starts to become abusive when people don't at least make an attempt to do it by themselves first. They seem to think my time is less valuable than theirs. Some seem to want everything done for them. If you need that much help. Pay me!

such an excellent reply......
and the "however" part of your reply is my (and others) exact issue with this ASP-newbie... there is obviously absolutely zero effort shown that there has been even the slightest attempt at hell, even just searching for a script that does the asked functions
being stuck and need help? i'll spend some time and spit out some lines of code, some links to where code exists, etc
being lazy or acting stupid about it? couldn't have said the line They seem to think my time is less valuable than theirs any better myself...

I'd putted a question about "searching files containing text" and found 12 reply. But no body gave serious answer to me. I'm very sorry to waist the time from that guys. they are just joking but not professional and serious in about this site.

I think you had the answer in the post from vshriniwasan. He told you how to do it. If you start running into problems with your code, Post a specific question.
