Anyone checked out Firefox 2 RC1 yet?

The killer app on it I can't with without now is the built in spell checker that checks your spelling as you type and underlines anything you miss-spell.

It works on all text boxes and text areas that I have tried, and even works in the RTE on  this forum.

So hopefully you should see my spelling improve Wink

yeah FF 2 is really good, i noticed the spell checker worked on the RTE (which is great)

also, i like the fact you can 'highlight & search' using any site in your QuickSearch box

Saw some site a few days ago that claimed they found over 30 security problems in FF 2 RC1. They only gave an example of one javascript exploit though.

They might just be tooting their own horn, but I'll wait for something that works with my extensions. Google spell checker's good enough for now.

If I found that many vulnerabilites I would report them and get the cash!

FF RC2 starts up really fast. That was an issue with their 1.5 version... I also like the visual updates and hover effects.
