Has anyone else recently noticed delay issues in Firefox?

I'm finding now that there seems to be delays, as if the whole browser pauses for a few seconds while it thinks what to do next.

When moving the mouse over a link item it takes a few seconds to update and realise that the mouse is over a link, also with writing I can write a line and by the end it's still outputting the second word.

I thought at first it was Windows Vitsa, but I also have an XP machine which is also acting in the same way.

Is anyone else finding the same problem?

It works fine for me, I run the latest version of it: 2.0.0.4

I've even tried going from 2.0.0.4 back to 2.0.0.2 and removed all plugins to see if that solves the problem, still the same issue though.

only issue i ever have had is the clearing the sessions and wanting to restart,

ie having issues where the fav's are cleared every few months for some reason .

oo and other issue was with pressing the down Key, it always jumped down to the bottom of the page. but seems to have stopped for now.

the more you use firefox especially with forums it does tend to slow down a bit for a few seconds i believe its due to the fact that there is too much information and cookies going into firefox at one time i found that if you make sure the firefox application clears every little bit of history and all temp files and cookies it makes firefox work a ot faster when you use it a lot!
