Hello, we have just relaunched our forum at
 
Currently, in the quick reply window down the bottom of any forum, the pull-down controls to change font and font size are missing. If i use the regular 'reply' rather than the 'quick reply' they ae showing. Is this normal?

Yes the quick reply is a cut down version of the full reply editor, and doesn't have all the tools.

Version 9 has a 'Switch to full reply' button so you can switch halfway through if needbe to the full reply editor if you find you need more space or an option that is only in the full reply editor.

Is it possible to perhaps disable the 'quick reply' window so users would only have the full 'reply' tools to use?

actually, ignore that..i dont think thats the best idea for us anyway to disable to quick reply.
 
was the quick reply window in earlier verions of the forum software as well...version 7 for example? i think it was wasnt it?
