Forum dead slow & some problems

Hi all,

My forum is getting dead slow now from today 5.30PM IST onwards. Now its IST 9.00PM.
It takes 1 min to open the edit post page now. What can be the reason ?
Is it due to my host ?
Is it due to the mods i installed ? only few
Is it due to my net connection ?
I installed the IP & Multiple skins mod today. after that it was working till 5.30PM. Then i left and after comming back mayb around 2.5hrs i noticed the forums down and sites up. this proves webhost is fine.
then i delete the skins default.asp and again uploaded. it worked but slow.

One more thing, i had active users enabled but i had active_users.asp renamed to old_active_users.asp from past 3 days. So, can that be cause for the problem?
Since today i noticed, maybe its from earlier, i saw people logged on and go to anonymous.
I renamed the active users.asp to orignal name now.
Can this be cause of anonymous problem ?

Servers do tend to slow down from time to time, this often happens when your site, or other sites on the server have bad progarmming somewhere in them, where server objects are not released.

Slowly the servers memory gets full at which point all sites within that memory application pool will slow down until the servers memory is released and site go back to normal running speed.

This happens more often of free web hosts like your site is on where more sites share the same memory application and more sites are on the server.

Sites using Access databases are partcully vonerable when server resources run low as opening access databases require allot of server resources.
