Safari, are you mad, have you tried the windows version? It was shockingly bad and buggy on the MAC and now just the same on Windows just with loads more security holes.

If you want an alternative to Firefox try Opera.

Apple need to stick to what they are good at, taking crappy sounding portable music players and making them the next cool thing to be seen with.

I second boRg on Safari.  If you're "lucky" enough to get it installed, you'll be met with a clumsy, difficult to read, slimmed-down excuse for a browser.  I only use it to render web sites the way they'd be seen on a Mac.  Certainly, not good enough for day to day use.

Opera is a good alternative, but it is the only browser that costs $$$. IE7 is the winner in my book.  Even Firefox was quick to adopt some of IE7's tabbed browsing features (close button on each tab).

Deleting cookies was a weekly problem for me on IE6. Now, I only have had to do it once on IE7 this year. Only because of the forum upgrade, I think a cookie crumb was left behind from v8.

Ok, now I third you guys on Safari. I heard it was the most wonderful thing out there from a buddy that swears by his MAC... now that I tried it, I couldn't even read anything!

I also get this problem.

And i agree Safari sucks with a passion. I would not use that browser if someone paid me.

I installed Safari out of interest, that was quickly replaced with horror lol. It's absolutely amazingly bad.

I still stick by Firefox and occasionally use IE7 for sites with lazy designers :p
Handyman man?
