Maybe Bruce does not have time right now to continue on 8 and sticks with 7.9 which is working well anyway.

is it is V8 alpha 1 but as so many people are asking whens V8 out . Whens V8 out .

hes changed it to V7.9 to hopefully stop some of the unnecessary postings and PM's.

My personal opinion on this is that this is still v8.0 alpha (it has sub-forums still) but he must have done something to common.asp or even replaced it with v7.9 common.asp that's why the version value is showing incorrectly.

For those that don't know, it's in common.asp that the version value is held.
