There are quite a few bugs in the WWF ver 7.9.

1. It does not show users in Active Users list. It only shows the user by which we are currently logged in and not other users.

2. Moving post from one forum to another is buggy. I created two forums:

Forum 1
Forum 2

In Forum 1 there were 2 posts Post 1 and Post 2. In Forum 2 there were not posts.
I moved Post 1 from Forum 1 to Forum 2. Now on the main screen where it shows categories and forums (default.asp) it shows that there are 2 posts in Forum 1 although is has been move. And when I went inside Forum 1 it only shows 1 post which is Post 2.
On the other hand it say Forum 2 has 0 posts although when I went inside there was 1 post which is Post 1 which I moved from Forum 1.

These are not bugs.

1. HTTP is a stateless protocol so tracking users is never 100% accurate, so the forum uses IP addresses to track users. This works as long as you don't share your IP address with another user, which it sounds like is happening in your case.

2. I guess you are suing Access, as Access doesn't update fast enough for the forum post count to be updated correctly on some systems.

If this is happening you need to use the 'Resync topic and post count' tool in the admin area, or you can also access it through the admin icon next to the forum name on the main forum page.

1. I am using the forums on my local computer on LAN IP and I was logging in from different browsers for each user (on my computer). Just telling you so that you can have exact idea of what's going on. May be it has something to do with it!?

2. Thanks yeah it worked!!! I did "Resync topic and post count' and everthing was just fine.
