I have just done it with candypress and WWF. It's on new site that is not to far from being launched.

I used the WWF client tables and then added the candypress fields to the tblAuthor.

You need to go through the CP code and change all their client tables to use tblAuthor.

Find and replace works well.

Then you need to add the WWF log in encryption to CP.

Bit of work but it can be done.
