You need to put the recovery model for the SQL Server database onto simple.

This should also help speed things up.

You can do a backup log with truncate only to get it to it's smallest factor, having it set to simple iirc should keep it small after that.

I connect to my sql server database via client...

I can increase the file sizes but i can't decrease any of them...

My host takes backup of my database file (38mb, not including the transaction log) regulary...

Transaction log file size is 250 mb, as i said, i can't decrease it's size...

Is it really a problem ?

Taking backup of the real database file is enough ?

What do you offer for me ? I'm very concerned about my forum.

I've only one problem at the moment... Active Topics...

It's working for some time... Then it stops(only yesterday's posts)... Then it's working again...

I've tried changing LCID, resetting vs... but no success...

Thank you for the support...Embarrassed
