I'm looking for a user article/product rating system. A system like the one used for this site. Does anybody know such a good simple system? Perhaps with a link where it can be downloaded?

Perhaps this is something for the Web Wiz Guide and its free software?

i want this too,

you could always download one of the scripts, cut out the "Rating" part then work it into your site, but i think that might be a lil hard - am gunna do one, by editing a poll (not off this site)

i tend to make my own stuff when i cant find wot i want alot

guess it helps me learn

(PS if you did download sumfin off the site and use it, ya'll have to put the "Powered by Web Wiz Guide" init)

the solution is rather simple:

create a database with a table in it

define the table as below:

RatingID = auotnumber
Rating = number
Votes = number

create a asp-page that displays the rating based on the Rating and selected by the RatingID and votes is the total votes
Rating is the TOTAL rating of all users.
in your ASP page you have to devide the rating by the votes:
Rating/Votes
