ASP + XML API?

hi guys, got a query, and help i need if you can help.

E:magine don't allow passworded zips on our servers unless the client submits a ticket or sends an email to use with the zip details, this is so we can allow them to use them but still give server secureiuty.

What do you gues think on this firstly?

all the details sent to use are then storeded in one of our secure SQL databases, thats only accessable from our control sie that is password/user based site.

my idea is to allow the clients to login to a subdomain, that is for the archives something like Zips.emagine-hosts.com

heres the catch i would like to use H-Sphere Username and password to authinticate the user using XML API.

at the least i need is a API that authinticates the user, with a Bolluien results (Yes = details are correct , No = Details are wrong)

because i can use the details from the login to store the records with an ID of the username.

i can do everything apart from the XML API as ive not a clue how to use it.

i have a authentication bean but not sure how to use it. if anyone can give advioce on using it with ASP etc.. i would be greatful.

even if its a tutorial on actually using/ecuting a XML command via api. because i have looked at a lot of sites but dont say here is how to use the XML API

ive truied PSoft but they are no good.
