OK, I might be a dummy... However, when anyone registers to my forum with an @comcast.net address the address gets garbled when it is placed into the database. Have I messed up the code? Is this from a previous blocking attempt? Drivin' me nuts... any clues... anyone... anyone... Bueller... Bueller?

This is due to the malicious code filters used in the forum, but when emails are sent the email address is decoded.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I thought that would be the case. However, when people sign up with a comcast address, I get a send mail error and they never get their activation e-mail. Any suggestions?

This won't be due to the HTML encoding of email addresses, as they are decoded before the emails are sent.

If emails are boucing back it maybe due to the strick policy that comcast have, as they tend to bounce back emails for reasons such as domain lookup, or if your domain or mail server is blacklisted.
