Topic: Firefox Extensions Posted: 18 May 2005 at 5:53am |

Hi
I'm trying to make some FireFox extensions but am having some
trouble. So far, I'm really suprised how easy the whole thing
looks, just compressed JS files, I really thought it would be harded
than that!
Anyway in FireFox im uninstalling and installing the extension im
making, however when I unsintall all my extensions they all say "wil be
uninstalled after restarting firefox"
They won't dissapear whatever I do, reboot, restart FF, uninstall and
reinstall FF... Does anyone know how to remove all extensions
manually?

There is a file is your documents and settings under the mozilla section in extensions called some or other .rdf.
You can find extensions installed in there.
When that happened to me it was an error of not upgrading firefox correctly.
Please post a good tutorial when you have finished writing the extension

Almost there :)
I'm making a SMS toolbar, I figure lots of people might download it if
it's on the official moz dev site, help propell C4. C4's taking
off quite nicely now! The scripts I offer really really helped
(thanks to Mart for the .net one!)

Paypal for now, no point doing anything else until I get more
consistant sales, as it just costs too much unfortunatly! When I
get more sales and when they become more consistant then I will shop
around again.
I ty my best to avoid monthly fees where possible when Im starting up
something like this, otherwise you can quickly find yourself sinking.
Anyway I've just about finished my extension!
