I've done everything right within the install of the RTE, and yet, when I run the page that holds the RTE I get an Object Disabled error.  Anyone else get this eror upon install, or does anyone know what is going on?

Need a bit more detail to try and workout what the problem is.

Is this a server or a browser error?
Do you get the same error when using the online demo version?
Do you get this error before or after modifying the application?
When does this error occur?

I do not get the same error when using the demo version; therefore, it must be a server error, I would think.  The error shows up within the page like it was written there.  It occurs everytime I load this page:

It says Object Disabled in bold about H1 heading height

That type of error usually sugests that something on the server has been disabled by the server admin.

Do you get a line number or anything that the error is occuring on?

Maybe a URL so I can see for myself may help workout what is wrong.

If you put in anything at your site with a .asp extension it says 'object disabled' so it suggests that ASP has been disabled on the server you are using.

Check with the server admin that the web server meets the minimum requirements of a windows web server with ASP enabled.
