It would be great to have a Forum topic subject line. Is there a way to do this? I've looked in the mods but haven't found anything.

I would like to use the forums as a sort of article site where users cna comment on articles.

The subject line would be like the subject in the web wiz news application.

If anyone has a mod or knows of a way I may have missed please let me know.

Thanks,

John

A quick-n-dirty way to do this would be to redirect requests to tour main forum page (forum/default.asp) to forum/articlesubforum.

You'd only have one forum, but every article could be a different thread.

The other solution is to use the WW Journal.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

thanks buddy! Not real practical but worth a look.

I have used the journal and it works sell actually the ww news works much better for articles and journals. I don't like the way the journal exposes each and every article on the screen. I like the table of contents method that news uses.

In any case, there is much more functionality and more features in the ww forums for doing this. Even without the subject area it's much better.
