ok this is freaking me out...this problem is continuing from the prev topic error8004020f...

i turned off and then on the email notify and after that i started a DTS import from MSSQL to MS ACCESS mdb at local. it was importing the threads when my internet connection disconnected. after that i tried to turn off the email notify and it told me that some cursor was not at its place cant remember the error though did post it in the previous topic word by word.

now when i recieved that error i went back to forum to see if things were running smoothly and i noticed that forum was running very slow and then i logged out and tried to log back in but to no avail. as i log in it took me to the login successful page and when it redirected me to the defaul.asp instead of me being logged in and online , there are just empty quick log in fields and im still a guest. i tried clearing the cookies both set by forum and in my pc cache but no good, have put my site in the secure sites no good.

Please anyone help me out here....most of the users are facing the same problem.....it is bad for the forum traffic....Cry

The cursor error is becuase you have a corrupted or incomplete Access database.

Your slowness problem could be due to the server being busy doing a DTS export.
