I am setting up a lesson booking form and calendar using ASP and a database and want to be able to have different colours for events on the calendar. The submit booking form has 5 locations for each lesson. CLC, Maths, Science, Music and Other. Each one needs to be in a differnet colour.
Is this possible?Disapprove

Yes.

Now without know how you do it, it will be hard to explain but essentially you'd something like
Select Case locations
 Case "CLC"
      'Switch whatever color as required
  Case "Math"
       ..........
End Select

I think we'd need to know a little more about how you're trying to do it as there's about a dozen ways to implement something like this. A short code example of how a date/event is actually displayed by your app would help.

In michaels example, locations is a string that contains a value that indicates what type of event you're dealing with at the moment. For different event values, you write different html background values or specify a different css class for the background. You would probably do this differently depending upon how the event is displayed - table, css box, paragraph, etc. Might also depend upon if you are using an array of days in the month.
