When I swapped to the new includes/navigation_buttons_inc.asp

i could access the Admin area perfect;y but the forums themselves disapeared and I got this message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4'

Variable is undefined: 'strHeaderAds'

/forum/includes/navigation_buttons_inc.asp, line 104

Now when I have swapped back to the old file I had before the fporums are perfect but it says I dont have sufficiant permission to access the admin area.

What do I need to do?
thank you in advance...

You also need to update the common.asp file with the latest version in both the main forum section and the admin directory.

You may also find that you need to update some of the files in the includes directory with those from 7.97

The simplest way to upgrade is to replace all the ASP files with those from the latest version.

A full list of changed files can be found in the Version History file.

It looks like you are not updating all the changed files from the previous version you are using.

The simplest way to do this is; download the latest version and replace all the ASP files with those from the latest version.
