The link takes you to the last post in that forum. If someone posts a new post between the page being rendered and you clicking the button you will get taken to the new latest post.

I upgraded my beta 2 to the RC1, everythings works fine Clap but..

Only thing i have is when i reply in a topic with more pages it jumps back to page 1 (first post) instead of the page i posted on.. settings are Oldest post first.
 
It wants to go to the post i made but it doesnt: forum_posts.asp?TID=22&PID=736#736
 
When i press refresh in the browser it jumps to page 2 instead of page 3 (the page my post is on)
 
Would also be a last post issue?

When you post a new post an anchor is used instead of the old system.

The post ID is past to the page then the page is calculated from that.

It sounds like in a few instances the page it calculates the post to be on is slightly out.

I will try and replicate the error and see if it can be sorted.

I have not been able to replicate this error you mention.

Could you tell me how many posts you display per page, so that I can try and replicate it?
