Hello.

Meybe you can protect msn address by spaming. Like you can @ replace with (at) etc... Meybe this can admin choise.

Or Admin can choise which datas of users in profile can be view by guest, user, moderators or admins.

Cool.

Perfect protection for anti-spam is to use picture for e-mail address. But component for ASP tehnology are not free.

This new version of forum doesn't not open profile in new windows but open in regular window of probster. Spider for searching emails address by web can find meny address in forums.

This can be very useful when you like admin will give users maksimum protection of her data.

This is the reason I do not list my MSN username on most forums.   What is ironic is that you can hide your e-mail address, but then it is revealed when you give your MSN username!

This is reason why it is a good idea!

Meybe for protect can e-mail display in IMAGE. Component ASPjpeg this allow, by many servers doen't support becasue it is not FREE. (Alternative option)

Simple option is ti REPLACE some character.
exp. a.b@c.d = a.b(AT)c.d

More option how will protect all e-mail batter will be!
Admin and/or user can seleced.

sorry if i got this wrong, but i dont see how this is a problem as you need to be a member to view the profile, and no amount of "protection" will stop humans from havisting your email address.

so i dont quite understand this

and wistex, your email address and msn address can be different, and obviously if you dont want people to know it, you dont enter it into the msn field

the reason the MSN address is not like the other 'buttoned' contact methods is because it is neigh impossible to launch MSN/Live from a web browser.

So the only way for anyone to actually MSN you is for them to read it and then add you manually unlike on the Yahoo/AOL/Skype etc were there is code in place to do this automatically.
Handyman man?
