Hello,

What I'd like is to point people to a URL that only shows them a specific category and its forums.

Is that possible?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

You can, if you click the category name from the main forum index it will only show the forums for that category.

If you then copy and paste the URL to your own link when clicked it will display that category and forums in that category only.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if I did it wrong.

When I clicked the category name, it collapsed the other forums and showed me every category, but only the forums for the one I clicked on.

When I copied that URL to another browser window (the url looked like http://www.domain.com/forum3/default.asp?C=3), it still showed the names of the other categories in collapsed mode. I didn't want the other category names to appear at all.

Did I miss something? Or is that what I have to live with?

Thanks again,

Steve

Unless you modify the code, this is something that you will need to live with.

Another option is that you make a static web page with links in to just the forums you want.
