I have just recently moved my site to a new windows 2003 server
 
i have checked the mail settings inthe admin section but i am having issueson sometopic when i i post repleys,
 
Server is windows patched up to date but do i need to install cdosys or activatite somewhere

It maybe that you need to have SMTP authentication.

Contact your mail server admin about this.

If you do you will need to upgrade to version 8, which has support for SMTP server authentication.

Does this need to be put into the code manually or is there a section i am mssing

Version 7 doesn't have support for SMTP server authentication, version 8 does, which is entered from the admin area when setting up the email settings.

I trust you have installed the e-mail componet (ASPEmail, Dundas, etc) and have set it to allow in IIS?
