Hello,
I have noticed that my forum (v8.2) doesn't put uploaded files to user's folders anymore. It is uploading to /forum/uploads - all files to same folder...Confused
 
Did I do something wrong or?Confused

No, in version 8 files are not uploaded to folders with usernames, as uploaded files are now attached to posts to be deleted when the post is deleted.

You would think the forum would still be able to delete the file from the users folder rather than lumping them all into one directory. 
I dont know if it is feasible to do, but I would like to see that feature added.

The reason why they are not stored in users folder is that the database only has 255 characters to store the upload file names for each post, if you add usernames into this then you will not be able to upload as many files.
