Hi there!

I’m the process of designing a website for my business and was wondering if there are ways that I can alter the site to get it higher up the google list for people looking for holiday homes or static caravans to buy in the UK? Do you have any tips to make it a stronger site? The url is http://mystaticcaravan.com so any feedback you could give would be great!

Thanks

I would improve your description meta tag, and then include more text in your homepage that includes as many of the keywords as possible used in your description and keyword meta tag.

Don't just list the keywords or have them as hidden text as search engines don't like that.

They try and get as many sites on the same subject as your site to link to your site, this helps boost your Google PR rating and helps search engines find and index your site faster.

borg,

what does it mean by keywords as hidden text..??

and plus I want to know one more thing about keywords..

Can u guys tell me whether I should have one set of keywords (all the keywords related to my entire site) on each of my webpage.. OR I should insert different keywords on each page according to the content of that particular page...??

thanks..

Hidden keywords are placing text lets say in 00CCFF colour on a part of your page that is the same colour 00CCFF or whatever, they will be invisible to the visitor because the visitor see's the only the colour but web crawlers/robots pick up the text and will high light the text as keywords you are searching for ( see cached page when you search a site the key words will be highlighted)

My opinion on your question regarding keywords is place all your keywords in the index/default/home page and other pages in your site, then the search will take visitors to your index page rather than a particular page, but the choice is yours, whatever you prefer, personally i think its better to have your index page displayed first it looks better then the visitor can search around and have a better look at your site.

I would recommend you to get a good content site and get more and more back links from quality sites (related ones). This will make you to get more traffic !!!
