Error Image Posting!!!!

This is due to performance limitations in the how databases work.

To allow more than 255 characters in the database field you need to use a text, ntext, or memo datatype.

To do this means that the internal workings of the database needs to create an extra page just to store the data for this field, this also requires extra pointers within the database to support this.

This then leads to a larger slower database without the performance that is required.

If you want you can change the datatype for the field tblThread -> File_uploads to 'text' for SQL Server/mySQL or 'memo' for Access, but you will loose some performance in your forum and have a larger database.
