Pc running XP and office 2003 professional is linked to network with a t: drive mapped to the directory on the server with all the correct user security settings.
The web pages work perfect from one pc with the same software and internet and intranet security settings (including versions and service packs) but continually give the message of " web components not installed".- I reinstalled the web components but this did not solve the problem. The first PC that works fine now,initially did not connect to the database but after 24 hours with "auto update" on, it started to work. I tried to put these PC's on autoupdate but this did not solve the problem up to now.
