Mass mailing Errors

Hello,
When I use mass mailing, sometimes I get the following error:
 
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while sending an email.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_send_mail_footer
File Name:- functions_send_mail.asp

Error details:-
Persits.MailSender.4
Address already in use.
 
E-mails will be sent, but a small number of users recipients not. What does it mean?

It looks like possibly the persist email component you are using isn't able to handle sending that number of emails.

I would try using a different email component, the one I would recommend is CDOSYS, which comes with the Windows Server OS, and a 'localhost' SMTP server.

I tried to send over CDOSYS and got the following error:

Error details:-

The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 550 unknown user
 
But now, I don't know how much E-mails have been sent. The total is the number of registered users. Could it be that I've to wait how many E-mails comes back?

If you want to sendout this amount of mail you should look at using the Web Wiz Mailinglist and use the import tool to import the members from your forum.

Mmmhhh....I thought WWF has the Mailing List included. Then I've to use the other feature (WWML). But what happens, when a new user registers at the forum. Is it necessary to import the E-mail in WWML again?
