Hurry up, get your mobile domain~!!

To those of you that did not know, the new Top Level Domain (TLD) .mobi is out.... register your .mobi domain before someone else takes it. Also look for the domain that you've always wanted and never got. The domain name .com that you wanted might be available as a .mobi.

To be honest I use to register domains when new suffixs came along, but I ended up never using them, and if I did no-one knows what they are.

For example even though .info has been around over 5 years, people still don't know what I mean when I say www.webwiz.net, so much so I'm thinking of going back to the .com when I develop a new site.

I can understand what you say with regards to keeping your brand however for many companies trademark law and such saves registering all the new extensions that come and go quiet.

As -boRg- said and daw your 'joe average' only really recognises com and despite whatever you say on your literature or over the phone will go to .com.
