Hello,
At work we use Dreamweaver check-in- check-out features to manage the work flow
done on our web sites. In addition we have a development site and I live
site.
From time to time in recent months, our dev site gets out of sync. I am
not really sure what is causing this and therefore cannot come up with a
definitive answer. I was wondering if anyone else experiences this sort
of problem and the steps they implement to prevent this issue from happening
again.
In addition, when a check-in is performed on the entire site what is actually
happening? Do the files get replace on the server or (from my logic) all
of your files are check in so others can work on them. I have searched
the web, but unable to come up with a definite answer.
