I am a strater at this and setting up a forum for my software company. Would like to know how I can remove the abillity for some of my users to View a members list from the menu at the top of the forum page.

The code for those buttons is in includes/navigation_buttons_inc.asp

I'd make it so that only admins are allowed to see it because even if you take off the button/link that leads to it they would still get to it if they know the URL like: www.your-domain.com/forum/members.asp

Unless you delete the memers.asp file from your forum directory.

THanks for the help Info Tech but I cant find the option to only allow Admins to see it, can you point me in that direction?

There is no option for it...
You would need to modify the code to do it.... You can post a request for a mod in the Modifications section. Start a topic and see if someone can alter the code of the members page so that only admins are allowed to access it.

Thanks for that, I noticed that before I was registered I could not see the list of members but now I can so its there somewhere. Im also having problems uploading Files and images. The size is within limits in both cases but I just cant get it happening......any ideas ?

Need more info about what happens when you try to upload.
Common problems though are not having permission from the server to write to the directory and also not setting permissions in the app for the user group to upload files.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
