problem with writting into database

Please I want to ask you a question
why I can't login forum that i uploaded to my site
it't appear the following message:
 
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_Access_loginUser()_update_USR_Code
File Name:- functions_login.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft JET Database Engine
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

by the way
I have another access files and i can write on it  and also I give the folder a write permission .
 
I hope any one  solve this problem and thanksSmile

Hi ahm3000, you should post these questions in the support forum not in the General discussion... and also make sure you do a search as it might have been addressed before... like here in this topic: http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=22153
