Need help with Recordset problems. I installed the software and configured several forums (on an MSSQL DB), but whenever I post a message, the main forums page (default.asp?) shows the following error message:

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0cc1'

Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.

/wwiz/Default.asp, line 446

I have examined line 446 and it's about a variable called Last_entry_date. Looking at the DB, the value for Last_entry_date is vaid. Any ideas?

This sounds like a corrupted file, try reuploading the original default.asp file again and see if that solves the issue

No corruped file, I have re-uploaded it straight from the zip file. Anything else to examine or to try?

The issue is a database error, it could be coursed by a number of issues.

Try installing the latest MDAC database drivers on the server.
