increasing signature size/character limit

   If I change the "200" in the file, can I thus increase the size limit on the signatures with no other changes?
Is this the only place it's set?
200 really limits some of us, I'd like to increase it just a little, say to 220.
I found the line and the 200 on that line, just wondering if the database will take that change if that's the only place I change it.
