 Hello,
 I currently am the web and forum admin inherited from the previous guy running it. I created the new website in 2007 and need help now in how to modify the look of our forums. I inherited this web wiz forum duties from the previous admin who left.
 Just to start off, I have no idea what tools or what interface you have to use to modify the look, colors, icons, etc. of our forums and would very much appreciate any help and/or examples that anyone can supply me with.

Now that you have advertised to the world you have a 5 year old insecure version with a number of security holes you may want to upgrade to version 9.0 quickly before a hacker see this and hacks your forum.

If you upgrade to version 9 you have a number of built in skins you can select from in the admin area. If you find one you like just make a few alterations to the CSS files for that one to get it just right for your site.

I have updated the subject of this post so you are no longer advertising the version number of your forum.

Version 7 support was dropped about a year ago, and I would extreamly encourage you to upgrade.

There is an upgrade tool in the version 9 download from the version you have and the built in Dark Skin should work very nicely with your site (love the site by the way looks really good)

 OK I updated the database to the latest version, successfully, all steps completed.

OK, I got the new forum installed, for now in a separate folder until we get the "look" of it finalized.

Now I believe what we had before was the premium edition since we did not have ads by google on it. Is there an upgrade for previous paid users?
 
Also, I like the DARK Skin very much, how can I customize it further with color bars, icons, etc that fit our motif?
