Upgrading from 4.6 to 7.0???

Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade from 4.6 to 7.0 and convert the database? I have a lot of posts and members on the forum and I do not want to lose them. I see that theres an upgrade from 6.x to 7.0, but I'm not sure if I'm stuck or not.

I don't think it would be possible as version 4.6 was from September 2001 and things have changed very much since then.

Alan,

It is totally possible to upgrade from ANY version and even to import data from your old forums on your site. The issue is usually money. An import job like this could run into the hundreds if not thousands of dollars quite easily. If you are that interested in upgrading you might want to post offering it as a job and disucss payment with anyone that responds. There are several talented developers here who would be willing to help for a price.
