i want to know hot to past a bmp or jpg picture in the text area? if the RET doesnot support the method?

You click on the Insert Image button in the RTE's toolbar

but the iamge is not what i want to past or insert!

Not sure I understand what you are asking.

You can insert any bmp or jpg image into the RTE area, you either type in the URL path to your image or use the upload tool at the bottom of the Insert Image windows to upload your bmp or jpg image.

You might want to make sure that the Admin functions allows you to upload those file type of images.. the Admin might have turned those Files off..
