Hello...
I am a forum admin and I am having problems. A forum member contacted me saying the forums were down. When I attempted to view the forums, I got the following error message.
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while connecting to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.
Support Error Code:- err_Access_db_connection
File Name:- common.asp
Error details:-
Microsoft JET Database Engine
Unspecified error
I assume this to mean the db is not reachable for what ever reason. So as the first step, I verified the db was still on the server. In addition to the db, there is a .ldb file (locking database file). I also assume this to be the reason the db is inaccessable by the forums.
Any suggestions on how to procede?
