Hi

Iv'e had it with Fasthosts SSL server the speed fluctuates form fast to  dead with no real pattern but mainly when I need it to work.

My Site is Front Page compatible with an MS Access database ASP application generated from Xlinesoft ASPRunnerPro. This runs is Fasthosts SSL server as they do not allow read write access in the  frontpage web.

I'm sure the frontapage web would transfer over with no problem but would WebWiz basic host package support the ASP Database project.

Regards

Robin

Our Starter Website Hosting Package does support ASP with Access, SQL Server and mySQL database support. There is also support for ASP.NET 1.1/2.0/3.5 with many extras, PHP 5.2, and Perl CGI.

Unfortunately Microsoft dropped Frontpage back around 5 years ago and there is no-longer any support at all for Frontpage Extensions on Windows 2008 R2, so we would not be able to offer you Frontpage Extensions.

Hi Bruce,

Ok that's not the end of the world as the ASP issue is the more important. I'm sure your sites says it somewhere but what is the suggested editing application for the HTM side.

Regards

Robin

No problem in hosting ASP database driven websites as most websites on our systems are ASP.

To edit your web pages you would edit them locally on your own PC then use FTP to upload them to your website. Frontpage supports FTP so you can still use Frontpage to edit your web pages, however you would need to download them and edit them locally.
