Anyone? It looks like there is a max of 50 characters available in topic title. Does anyone know if or how I can max that at least twice as long?

This would not be simple. You would need to increase the size of the field in the database and then locate every part within the forums code where a subject is read in and increase the Trim function so that the larger number of characters can be read in.
