elementary my dear... Uploading my Website

There are two ways of uploading your website to our servers, you can use either the File Manager found in your control panel, or much better if you have more than just a few pages to use FTP.

To use FTP to upload your website you need to:-

1. Create an FTP account in your Control Panel. The page below gives details on how to login to your control panel and on the same page if you download the DotNetPanel User Guide on page 36 you will find instructions on how to setup your FTP account in your Control Panel:-

2. Once you have setup your FTP account you need to use FTP Client Software to upload your website to the wwwroot folder. The page below gives more details on how to upload your website using an FTP Client and also gives a link to a Free FTP Cleint that you can download and use:-

You will also find that many Web Design Tools have FTP built in such as Expression Web or Dreamweaver, which can also be used to upload your website using FTP.
