Just started getting HTTP Error 500.100 errors of Error Type: (0x80004005) specifically when I go to admin.asp or member_control_panel.asp files.

Any ideas on where to look?  Not exactly sure when this started. I just updated to the lastest version about two weeks ago, which the forum appeared to be working but everyone seemed to have stopped posting.

Are you suing an Access database by any chance?

No sorry for lack of info... MySQL Database on a seperate server.  mySQL ODBC v3.51 connector.  It might be a very old version of the connector.  I just checked out the mysql site and there's a 3.51.57 version I was going to check to see which revision I had installed.  Its a Windows 2000 Server.

It's mySQL ODBC v3.51.17 that I have installed.  The latest version appears to be 3.51.27.  Would it be a good idea to update it?

Well, I installed the latest updates and restarted and it appears to be working again. Odd.  I suspect there may have been a combination of issues that was causing the mySQL ODBC driver to be unhappy.

Web Wiz Forums also supports myODBC 5.1 which is the newer myODBC driver. You can have myODBC 3.5 and 5.1 installed at the same time, so maybe worth installing 5.1 then when you next update your forum use the setup/upgrade wizard to select to use the 5.1 driver instead.
