Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have someone else upgrade people from standard member to gold member etc.  without having to give them the administrator password ?

Sorry if this is a n00b question.  And thanks in advance.

As you are mentioning Standard, Gold I assume you are still running V6, there a Moderator or Administrator can upgrade the status.

in version 6 you have to enable moderators to be able to upgrade status's. if memory serves u do this in forum config

yea but on the latest version moderators won't be able to upgrade accounts for you, it'll have to be an admin or you would have to mod the register.asp to allow moderators to do it, you'll just have to change a couple lines from If blnAdmin Then...... to If blnAdmin AND blnModerator Then.......... i did it a few times on the previous beta versions but i don't need that again so i ain't gonna do it again...
