On a new registration where you don't select "male" or "female" you will receive the following error msg on my web-wiz config.

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the Forum Administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_register_USR
File Name:- register.asp
Forum Version:- 10.03

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
The INSERT statement conflicted with the CHECK constraint "SSMA_CC$tblAuthor$Gender$disallow_zero_length". The conflict occurred in database "terrangb", table "dbo.tblAuthor", column 'Gender'.

On my earlier installation ver 8-9 I have altered the code so that Gender never is a zero length if you leave it to "private". But Im not keen to do that any more Wink

Best regards
Andreas Eriksson

You would need to change back your modified database so that the 'Gender' field in the 'tblAuthor' table allows 'null' values.

Will do that, but I have never modified my database to allow anything other then default... it´s table content was generated by the forum in its time back in 2006.
