The "test email settings" works but when I test posting a reply or a new topic I do not receive an email.  My email address is listed on my profile.  The "Email Notify me of Replies" is also checked in the forum.  I'm using a Windows web server.

I've check the log files on the email server and it doesn't show emails sending...

Are there any log files that Web Wiz generates that I could look at?

You would not receive email notifications of your own posts.

To test the email notification you would need to use two accounts to test, one that you enable email notifications on, then login as the second account to post in order to receive a email notification.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I already did that...I was logged in with two accounts and I didn't see any emails after posting.

Depending on your settings the forum will only notify you of new posts by email of topics that you are watching after you have left the forum.

You would need to logout on the first account that you are using to watch topics, then wait before posting under the second account.

Yes!  That was it...I have to be logged out to receive messages when someone else posts.  Thanks for the help!

I had exactly the same problems as noted above and followed all the directions above and still no joy.

I have also upgraded the forum to the latest version and double checked the settings with no resolve.

Don't know what to do now....I appreciate some direction.

Please create a new topic instead of jumping in on another members topic as your issue may be very different and require a completely different way to resolve the issue.

You should also include more information than you have given to try and diagnose your issue.
